About Clickworker

Clickworker is a crowdsourcing platform where businesses outsource micro-tasks to freelancers (Clickworkers). These tasks typically involve training Artificial Intelligence (AI) and can include text creation, categorization, copy editing, proofreading, research, and mystery photography. It is widely accessible to users globally.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is UHRS?

UHRS (Universal Human Relevance System) is a partner platform often accessed through Clickworker. It provides a high volume of small tasks (like judging search engine results) and is often where the most money can be made.

2. How much can I earn?

Pay varies by task speed and difficulty. Most micro-tasks pay a few cents, but efficient workers can average $8-$15 per hour. It is best treated as a side income rather than a full-time job.

3. When does Clickworker pay?

Clickworker sends payments weekly (usually Wednesday to Friday) via PayPal or Payoneer. However, there is a 28-day holding period for earnings to ensure quality control before they become 'payable'.

4. Is there an assessment?

Yes. To qualify for the best-paying tasks (especially UHRS), you must pass a qualification assessment to prove your language skills and ability to follow instructions.

5. Can I work from my phone?

Yes, Clickworker has a mobile app available for iOS and Android. Some tasks, like voice recording or taking photos of objects, are specifically designed for mobile users.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get paid for my work?

We pay our Clickworkers weekly (PayPal, Payoneer, ACH, direct bank transfers for non-EU countries) or bi-weekly (SEPA). You do not need to manually request a payout, as you will automatically be included in the bill run, once you have reached the minimum payable amount and entered your tax details.

With each bill run, you will receive an invoice listing all jobs that got paid out during that certain bill run.

Besides your payable balance reaching the required minimum amount and tax details, you need to make sure that your payment details are set up correctly.

How much will I be paid?

The amount you are paid varies depending on the project and the description of the task. They can range anywhere from cent amounts to two-digit euro sums.

Why aren’t there any jobs available for me?

The workload changes regularly and depends on several general and individual factors.

1. You might not be qualified for the current projects because you have not yet taken the respective assessments or because your score was below the minimum score for the project.

2. The current jobs might only be available for specific groups of Clickworkers, for example, native speakers or Clickworkers with special fields of knowledge.

3. There might just not be many jobs available at the moment.

We recommend to complete your profile as much as possible and check if there are any assessments available for you.

And in case you didn't know, the clickworker app and browser version often offer different kinds of projects. So you should definitely visit them both regularly!
